FCSL Divisional Champs Swim Event Files if using Hy-Tek for your Entries

Zipped FCSL event files for HyTek’s Team Manager programs

Note: events #1 thru #8 are 1M Diving, & events #61 thru #66 are 3 M Diving

PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING the event file you need - links are at end

NOTE: these zipped meet event files have NOT been updated for the current year.
You can still use the files but once imported into Hy-Tek Team Manager, you MUST choose Meets and then Edit the meet file:

In the small Meet Setup panel , change the Meet Name and Facility Name
Next change the Meet Start Date, Meet End Date, Meet Entry Deadline for the current year
Click on the Eligibility Rules tab, and change the Meet Age Up Date = June 15 of the current year
After you click on the Save button you can use the saved meet events file for current Divisional Entries

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Max events per swimmer,is already coded in these files
NO Over-Entering (per team), you need to apply that rule!
Max swimmers (per event) is not coded in these files YOU need to set it in the Team Manager program
Other entry rules are listed in the Championship part of the FCSL Swimming Rules.
Only One Alternate per event is allowed
(who only swims if one of your club swimmers scratches same event)
If you have non-25 SCM race times you MUST convert times, by using Course code S for 'SCM' as Course code SO is 'SCM Only'.

FCSL General Sports Rules also apply.
Only FCSL Eligible swimmers may be entered in Divisional Championships. Check General Sports Rules!
Each entry MUST have an Entry Time, 'NT's are NOT allowed, estimate if you don't know.
Each swimmer MUST have a Date of Birth in entry file, not just age (on June 15)

Any questions or for help, email Rick Lewis, FCSL Officials Chair & Computer Chair
Any Rules questions, email Pat Griffis, FCSL Rules Chair

The U versions have swim events #9 thru #60 coded as 8/Under, 10/Under, 12/Under, 14/Under, 17.Under Just like they are in all FCSL swim meets including FCSL Divisional and County Championship Meets

The non-U versions have the same swimming events #9 thru #60 coded as 8/Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 (except 10/Under 100 IM) and are only provided as an optional aid when making an entry for FCSL Divisional Champs.

Examples where non-U files may be easier to use:
1. Entering swimmers for a 17/Under event entry ‘By Event’: All the swimmers (M or F) of all ages will show up to chose from. That can be overwhelming if a large team.
2. Entering a 7-year-old swimmer “By Swimmer”: The swimmer will show up with all 5 events in each age group, in each stroke, as possible events to choose from.
Coaches have sometimes chosen the wrong-aged event in the past as they have looked at the stroke and missed the age group.
